This is a standing opportunity for students to dialog with the Board.
Public Input
Students from all four high schools will be in attendance to invite board members to graduation ceremonies and ask that a board representative be selected to accept each graduating class.
A presentation will be made to the District by King County representatives recognizing the District's waste reduction/recycling achievements.
This is an opportunity for public input on items not already scheduled for discussion on the meeting agenda.
Summary of work/study session - Board
The Board will briefly summarize the work/study session held prior to the regular meeting this evening.
Summary of Linkage with City of Issaquah - Board
On Tuesday, April 24th, the Board held an informal linkage meeting with members of the Issaquah City Council and staff. The meeting will be briefly summarized for the public.
Summary of National School Board Association Conference - Board
Directors Maraldo, Moore and Weaver recently attending the annual NSBA Conference and will briefly summarize the event for the public.
Bond Election Debrief and Recognition - Rasmussen
The administration will present a summary of the bond election results and thank members of the Volunteers for Issaquah Schools Committee.
Budget Update for 2012-13 school year - Rasmussen
The administration will summarize the impact on District budget planning for 2012-13 as a result of the recent legislative session.
Ends 4 Technology - Draft Interpretation and Evidence - Rasmussen
The administration will present the first DRAFT of interpretation and evidence proposed for monitoring Ends 4 Technology. No action will be taken.
EL 2: Treatment of People - Rasmussen
The annual monitoring report for EL 2 Treatment of People will be presented for board action.

The administration will present the annual external monitoring report for EL-5 Actual Financial Condition and Activities.
High School Scheduling Update for the Fall of 2013 - Rasmussen
A status report will be provided on the work in progress regarding high school schedules for 2013.
School Siting Task Force Update - Kuper/Crawford
The Administration will provide an update on the recent recommendations of the School Siting Task Force - school sites outside of the Urban Growth Area (UGA).
GP Policies Monitoring - Board
A first reading for review of the GP Policies (Governance Process) was held at the March 28th meeting. The policies will be presented for board action.
Legislative Matters - Board (GP-3)
This is a standing opportunity to discuss educational legislation. The Board will also approve a legislative position for presentation to the WSSDA Legisative Assembly regarding grandfathering the levy lid.
Works in Progress - Rasmussen (EL-8)
This is a standing opportunity for the superintendent to provide a brief status report on various projects and activities in the District.

Board meetings are open to the public. They are designed to conduct board business rather than to serve as a public hearing, unless a public hearing is scheduled. Individuals wishing to give public comment on a specific agenda item where public comment is being accepted should wait to be recognized by the Board President during that agenda item. All other public comment should be given under the agenda item Public Comment. In the interest of time management, individual input is limited to two minutes. An individual may also submit a prepared statement to be given to the board secretary prior to the oral presentation.
Comments/concerns relative to district personnel should not be heard in public; rather, they should be directed through the Parent Complaints Against District Employees policy, obtained through the superintendent's office at (425) 837-7002.
